Community Service

By invitation, I regularly give talks about marine biology and related topics at elementary schools (Ashbrook, Corvallis Montessori, & Inavale), middle schools (Ashbrook), and high schools (Crescent Valley & Philomath). Also by invitation, I often speak at meetings of local chapters of various civic groups (e.g., Rotary Club & League of Women Voters) and environmental organizations (e.g., Corvallis Environmental Center & Sierra Club).
